Here's to Settling Things on the Court

The girls' club rankings for May are out and, frankly, they're not all that helpful. Since many of the top teams in the state were at Badger Region Championships, those results might be a better indicator of where things stand in the state. Here are the top 10 BRC finishers in 15 Open, 16 Open and 17 Open.

Then again, one of the benefits of volleyball over, say, gymnastics or division one college football, is that volleyball doesn't rely as much on judges or rankings. Things are typically settled on the court, making much of the above discussion a moot point.

And speaking of settling things on the court, it seems like as good a time as any to look/link back to last fall's classic D1 semifinal match between two teams that weren't all that highly ranked at the time, West Bend East and DC Everest.
