- In three Junior Olympic qualifying tournaments, they have yet to lose a single set
- They recently played in a tournament with eight of the top teams in the Midwest, plus Balboa Bay, the two-time JOVC defending champion from southern California (they beat Balboa Bay in the finals 25-12, 20-25, 15-13)
- This past weekend, they beat the top team from the East Coast (Pace Bootlegger) in the finals of the Fine Design Great Lakes Festival

North Shore 17s got 2nd at Gateway Boys Fest in St. Louis, 1st at Adversity/Balboa Bay Invite, 1st at Boys Fest in Milwaukee, and 1st at the Fine Design Great Lakes Festival. Wow!
