Impressive for a first year club, Adversity 15 Black, to win 15's President's Day Spectacular in the dells!

And an exciting match it must have been -- 16-14 in the third, no less. Also, even though it's our policy not to cover club teams under 15s, when a less-than-15s team finishes second and another finishes T3 in a 15s tournament, it is pretty impressive on both fronts. Ain't volleyball great?

Congrats to Sting 16 Gold and Capital 16 Nike Navy for representing Wisconsin very well in the 16 Open division of the GLC Presidents Day Challenge!

As noted in the prepvolleyball.com forums, Sting (2nd) and Capital (6th) were the only two teams in the top 7 finishers that were *not* in the national Top 20 rankings before the tournament.

Nice comment. Love the positive statements for ALL Wisconsin volleyball. Great sport. Great state. Go, Wisconsin club teams, go.

18 open results are now up from the President's Day Tournament in Chicago. Sting 18 Gold went 5-1 in this talent loaded Open Division. Their only loss can from Kiva, the #2 team in the country in a 5 set thriller, loosing 15-12 in the 5th. With most of the injury bug behind them, look for this team to make a major impact in Nationals.

Capital 18 Navy also had a nice showing finishing 12th out of 32 teams considering some of the girls were sick. Good showing for Wisconsin at this level.
