Thursday Thrillers (Updated)

We don't have much time to post this morning so we'll just link out to a few thrillers (and other news) from last night:
  • Green Bay Notre Dame snapped Manitowoc Lincoln's 28-game conference winning streak in a four-set thriller
  • If you read down in the link above, the Green Bay Press-Gazette also reports on a five-setter between Luxemburg-Casco and West DePere (Luxemburg-Casco won and it was a Dig Pink event)
  • Burlington Catholic Central defeated Racine Lutheran in a five-setter
  • Waupun has an 85-match, 217-set conference winning streak
  • Watertown recently had two players, Erienne Lauersdorf and Leanna Lillge, reach the 1,000-kill plateau and we've added them to our list
  • Waukesha West boys defeated Catholic Memorial in a four-set thriller to take control of the Classic Eight conference
Share a link and we'll add it to the list. Thanks.

Perhaps it should be noted that UW Marathon County won, 25-0, 25-5, 25-7. (yes, 25-0)

With the regular season wrapping up in the next couple weeks, how 'bout a blog post about teams with the longest conference championship runs?

Waupun's must be 8 or so years.

Cuba City may have a similar streak.

Grantsburg's may be the longest - 20 (21?) years???

Wisconsin Heights is on the verge of their 4th straight (two match lead, with three left).

Others???
