Racine Journal Times has an article (Fri. Oct. 17th) on the front page titled: "Fearsome foursome in county volleyball." It references Abby Beilke (Waterford), Carol Henney (Catholic Central), Michelle Smith (Catholic Central), and Rachel Aumann (Racine Lutheran) being members of the 1,000 Kill Club in Racine County. It also has a reference to cheeseandvolleyball.blogspot.com.

Sheboygan Christian, which was fifth in the CLC during the regular season, took third at Saturday's tournament and wound up fourth overall. The Eagles beat Ozaukee 25-19, 25-13 in the third-place game.

Christian senior Liz Egerer had 97 kills on the day and went over the 2,000 kill mark for her career.

If my math is correct, Arianna Wiersma reached the 1000 kill mark some time earlier this season, while Lizzy Potratz will probably reach 1000 this weekend at the Trailways Conference Tournament.

Haley Jeffcoat, Jr., OH, Racine St. Catherine's also surpassed the 1000 kill mark last Saturday during the MCC tournament at Prairie.

I forgot to mention that I believe Haley Jeffcoat is the first player in St. Cat's school history to achieve the 1000 kill milestone.

I reported a couple weeks ago that Lizzy Potratz (Valley Christian '11) was nearing 1000 kills. I have not seen anything writen about it in the Oshkosh Northwestern but if the stats on maxpreps are correct for the past four years she is now over 1000 kills in her career.
