Now's a great time to start sending some senior shout-outs to players whose high school careers have ended. We know there are plenty of players worthy of such a shout-out.

Katie Morman and Becky Engelbrecht at Shoreland Lutheran. Katie is one of the best Libero's Shoreland has ever had with just under 600 digs this season. Becky really stepped up her game and was the teams one and only hitter; she had just under 600 kills for her team with the closet team mate having only about 135. Wow, these girls were and are great VB players!
Thanks for sharing. We're also moving the above comment to the official "shout outs" post.
Amy McDonald, Morgan Lee and Ashley Hager from Hayward, along with Anna Morgan of Northwestern. All of these girls have started for four years. McDonald reached 1000 kills, I'm presuming Anna Morgan did as well, since she was such a big part of the Tigers' offense for four years. Hager swept up most everything in sight as starting libero for for years. If not for playing right-side her freshman year, Morgan Lee may have had 1000 kills as well. The Heart O North will be poorer for their absence in 2010.
There are better stories on the D.C. Everest (D1) and Tomahawk (D2) matches in Monday's Wausau Daily Herald
