Midwest, Mideast, Northeast and Central: Wisconsinites Are Earning Praise All Over the Place
Here's a possibly incomplete list of student-athletes who have recently earned AVCA Division I all-region accolades, Division II all-region accolades or NAIA all-region accolades. Needless to say, this is quite an accomplishment so please let us know if there's anyone we've overlooked. Thanks.

Viterbo libero Heather Harelstad, from Chippewa Falls HS, was named to the AVCA NAIA Midwest Region HM team.
Quite possible there are other WI players on the NAIA All-Region/AA HM teams, but Harelstad is the only one I know for sure.
Also, I did a 10-second V&C search, but I didn't see this among Carol Henney's many accolades.
Henney was named a Second Team AVCA High School All-American. A total of 48 players (24 per) were named to the first and second teams.
Besides Henney (Marquette), one other HS AA will play in Wisconsin next year. Mary Ording, a 6'3" MB from Cathedral HS in Indianapolis, will be a Badger, according to the AVCA release.
Thanks for the information, but it's 1:30 in the morning, man: get some sleep, ha ha. We're too tired to post on this right now. Hope we remember tomorrow or the next day. If you don't see something on the main blog in a couple of days, remind us. G'night now and thanks again.
