The state tournament starts on Halloween night and the official seedings are now available on the WIAA site. Your No. 1 seeds are:
Sectional 1: Kaukauna
Sectional 2: Nicolet
Sectional 3: Catholic Memorial
Sectional 4: Middleton
Sectional 5: New Berlin United
Sectional 6: Racine Horlick
Sectional 7: Marquette
Sectional 8: Wauwatosa East
As fate would have it, these are the same eight teams we picked to win their respective sectionals when we wrote our sectional previews last August. Only time will tell and we can't wait to see how it all plays out.
