So Who Won Division One Round One?

The first round of the D1 state playoffs is in the books and, yes, it appears as though there were more than a few fans on the edges of their proverbial seats. We don't see any upsets, but you should definitely direct your attention to the following five-setters:

• In sectional five, No. 5 Waukesha West lost the first two sets before coming back to defeat No. 12 Oconomowoc in five
• Also in sectional five, No. 8 Kettle Moraine outlasted No. 9 Hamilton in a 17-15 fifth game
• Still in sectional five, No. 7 Cedarburg over No. 10 Germantown in five
• In sectional two, No. 8 Green Bay Preble needed all five sets to beat No. 9 Pulaski 
• Again in sectional two, No. 7 Appleton West defeated No. 10 Appleton North in a 15-13 fifth game
• More from sectional two: No. 5 Ashwaubenon in five over No. 12 Green Bay East

If anyone was at any of these thrillers, don't hesitate to add a positive report of what transpired. Clearly, Saturday should have some exciting matchups. We'll try to provide a little analysis between now and then.
