It'll Be D4 v. D1 on Saturday
We just uncovered an interesting fact in the Watertown Daily Times that many Cheese & Volleyball readers might already know: D4 power Catholic Central (D4 S4), our overwhelming poll favorite to be the last team standing in Wisconsin, will be playing in the Watertown Invitational tomorrow against several strong D1 and D2 teams, including:

This is where Catholic Central just goes out and shows they are the entire body better than any D4 school and almost any D3 and D2 school, and why not throw most D1 schools in there for good measure too.
Someone just left an anonymous comment that we've decided not to publish because, frankly, it was too negative in tone for our tastes. Sorry, but we're going to do whatever we can to keep the blog positive. The gist was that Catholic Central has yet to play D1 "powerhouses." Word from the Watertown tournament, however, is that CC has made it to the semis without a loss. More to come.
