- Division 4: Highland Hangs Tough No. 3-seed Highland won their first two matches, including No. 2-seed Argyle. Isn't this the tiny, tiny school that won state last year with a team stocked with seven seniors? Nice job of reloading and responding. They play No. 1 seed Wonewoc Center tomorrow night. (On a side note, Kendall Wienkes (Highland '11) is having a nice freshman year at IPFW.)
- Division 3: 18-16 Times Two There were two five-set thrillers in the last round that ended 18-16 in the tiebreaker set. Howards Grove topped Manitowoc Lutheran in one match and Fennimore defeated Lancaster in the other.
- Division 2: The Stacked Sectional Any sectional that boasts powerhouses like Catholic Memorial and Kettle Moraine Lutheran is bound to catch the eye. East Troy will take on the former tomorrow night while Kewaskum draws KML.
- Division 1: Last Run We're still working on a post honoring coaches with multiple decades of experience, but in the meantime we felt it appropriate to give a shout-out to Fond du Lac's head coach Julie Riese, who will be retiring after this postseason run. The No. 5-seeded Cardinals play Appleton North tomorrow night.
