OK, it's Friday night. It's been a looooooooooong week. We are exhausted. The blog is falling into disrepair.
And stories are piling up.
- Annie Kunes (Big Foot '12) has verbaled to Texas-San Antonio
- UW-Oshkosh has a nice writeup on 2011 WVC Hall of Fame inductee Andrew Sederberg (Racine Horlick '01)
- NCVF Championships are going on this weekend in Houston
- Wisconsin will be in Northern Iowa this weekend where they'll be competing against some former Wisconsin prep stars playing at Northern Illinois and North Dakota State
But we are 100 percent determined not to let this blog die.
Know why? Because at the end of nearly every insane, bleary-eyed work week there's an edge-of-your-seat exciting little thing we call volleyball that's waiting like a light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.
AND WE ARE ABSOLUTELY CRAZY ABOUT THIS SPORT.
Beyond even that, though, we happen to think it's important to be heapin' a serious helpin' of praise on at least some of the many, many praiseworthy achievements out there. So add a comment to this post if we're missing something (and we certainly are). Then cheer us on as we attempt to pound out a post-rich Saturday and Sunday.
Love this sport. Love this state. Time to set the alarm clock.
