Way to go, Falls!!!

Flipped a coin and decided to go to the Falls/Germantown final..what a great decision that ended up being. The gym was electric and the two teams didn't disappoint with a true 5 set thriller. Congrats to the Falls and good luck at State and also congrats to Germantown, underrated all season long, on a great season.

Here's a link to an article about the Grantsburg vs. Regis sectional final.

And I occasionally "recap" a few game thoughts on the Grantsburg Volleyball website I maintain. I add photos & comments to a linked blog.

P.S. Grantsburg (D3) also defeated sectional champ Eau Claire North (D1) earlier this season. Convincingly. =)

No one expected us to be in this position after graduating 5 starters (including All-State Annie Palmquist) from last year's state championship team. It's fun to see the new players step up.
