Let the Prognosticating Commence: WIAA Girls Division 2

In sectional 2, there are just so many good teams, from the big three out of the Bay (Oconto Falls, Denmark, and L-C), frcc champion notre dame, along with recent history winner Xavier, and the most storied volleyball program in the state in Waupun. I have to go with Oconto Falls in this sectional. Since September 1st, they have gone 36-1, including beating many of the division's top teams. One of those was Notre Dame at their own tournament. This match went three very close games, with Oconto Falls holding Erin Lehman in check while she was in the front row during the final points of the third game.

It should be an intense Section 2...................Oconto Falls and Waupun will be a great Sectional Semi, and on the other side Notre Dame against the winner of Lux-Casco/ Denmark, which is should be a heavy weight battle. Not sure who to pick they split in regular season matches....2 games at Denmark 27-25 in regular season, and 15-13 in game 3 of teh conference tournament. My guess is it will be a rematch for Notre Dame of last years Regional Final, which was a great match. I truly think there are 5 or 6 teams that have legit shots of winning the sectional and going to state.....Oconto Falls, Waupun, Notre Dame, Denmark, and Lux-Casco............and you can not count out Xavier ever. Sleepers could be Little Chute and Freedom, but my guess is it comes from 1 of those 5 teams, my guess, Lux-Casco gets hot behing Gunderson, and VandenPlas.........but Falls is playing well, and Notre Dame has so many weapon.....who knows, ask me next monday and I'll give you a better guess when it is down to 4!
