Fourth in School History and First in School History: Congrats to Aly Kujawa and Melissa Morello

Within the past few days, two outstanding players from two different schools (and two different divisions, for that matter) surpassed the 1,000 kill mark for their careers and have been added to our list:
  • Aly Kujawa (Catholic Memorial '11) became the fourth Crusader in school history to reach 1,000 kills. The others, according to tomorrow's Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, are Marcie Bomhack (Catholic Memorial '98), Maureen Reardon (Catholic Memorial '07) and Lisa Gamalski (Catholic Memorial '00).
  • Melissa Morello (Nicolet '12) became the first Knight in school history to achieve the same impressive milestone (Note: It was part of a 53-kill conference tournament performance)
1,000 well-deserved congrats to each of you.

Haley Jeffcoat, Jr., OH, Racine St. Catherine's also surpassed the 1000 Kills milestone this past weekend during the Midwest Classic Conf. Tournament at Prairie. She is the first player in SCHS history to achieve this accomplishment.

Congratulations to all the other 1000 Killers!

Congratulations Aly... Now lets win another State Championship, so you and your teammates can become the winningest 7 players in school history (Abshire, Acker Browning, Kujawa, Hastings, Davis & Welsh.)
