UW-Milwaukee Volleyball to Play at a High School in the Middle of Iowa on Friday

Yeah, it sounds a little strange, but it's definitely what will be happening. Here's the deal: Last month, Iowa State's home facility flooded so the team had to reschedule their entire home schedule to Ames High School.

First up for the Panthers will be North Dakota State, a team with many Wisconsin connections: Brooke VandenBergh (De Pere '07), Andrea Henning (Kettle Moraine Lutheran '09), Nicole Sheridan (Muskego '07) and Carissa Whalen (Wausau West '10).

The Panthers take on the No. 12-ranked Cyclones at the aforementioned high school at 1 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. Iowa State has two Wisconsinites on its roster: Ashley Mass (Muskego '07) and Debbie Stadick (Watertown '08).

And, of course, no fewer than 14 of the 15 players on the Panthers' roster played their high school ball in our fine state.
