Five Unrelated Stories from the Vbuberalles@gmail.com In-Box

OK, so we're pretty much getting deluged on a daily basis with outstanding stories, links and what-not. And we absolutely love it.

Unfortunately, we're also struggling to find the best way to get as much online as we bloggily can. Our latest attempt is to give you a peek at just five of the stories that arrived today in our in-box (as an interesting side note, none was sent by a player's parent -- they're all from fans of the sport):
  • Kaitlyn Wilks (Union Grove '10) was named girls athlete of the week by the Racine Journal Times
  • Megan Schroeder (Racine Case '10, Missouri State '14) had a triple double (35 kills, 12 digs and 12 blocks) against Kenosha Bradford
  • Racine St. Catherine's beat Shoreland Lutheran in a FST (five-set thriller) with sophomore Haley Jeffcoat getting 32 kills and Taylor Molbeck putting up 50 assists (Racine St. Catherine's plays Racine Lutheran tomorrow night in what should be a terrific match)
  • Debbie Stadick (Watertown '08, Iowa State '12) had a career-high 15 kills in the Cyclones' victory over Missouri on Saturday
  • Middleton will have its annual blue (that's right, blue) volleyball game to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. They've raised more than $30,000 for this great cause since 1999. We'll try to do another post on this if we can dig up some more details
Thanks for the all the e-mails. We love it and we'll try to keep up.
