It took four terrific sets for the Green Bay Preble Hornets to keep their undefeated season intact against a very determined Green Bay Notre Dame squad. Here's the story in the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Final scores were 25-21, 23-25, 25-23 and 27-25. Jenna Smits of Preble had 46 assists, which should put her atop our 2009 Girls Lists once we finally get around to updating the list this weekend. Anyone have any new news for our Last Team Standing List?

First, many thanks for all the work you put into this site. It's great to have.
Second, there is one overlooked level of volleyball on this site. I'm talking about the two year colleges in the state. Although the level of play could be stronger, they provide one more opportunity for athletes to play competitively after high school.
One of these teams, UW Marathon County (Wausau), remains undefeated this year having yet to drop a set.
