OK, here's a statistical milestone you aren't likely to encounter every Friday (or Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, for that matter).Over the course of her team's two victories yesterday, Marquette's Nikki Klingsporn amassed more than 100 assists. She had 50 in a five-setter over Texas State and 58 (!) in a four-setter over Butler. Wow.
She'll go toe-to-toe with another outstanding setter today when returning Wisconsinite Lindsey Mueller (West Bend West '07) leads her Binghamton team into action against the Golden Eagles at 3 p.m. today.
