A Too-Quick Rundown of DI in WI Volleyball

Here's a too-quick DI in WI rundown:

• Wisconsin-Green Bay defeated Bowling Green in straight sets. Carmen Leitermann (D.C. Everest '09 had double-digit kills and Nikki Hintze (Menomonee Falls '05) had double-digit kills and double-digit digs for a double-double. Congrats.
• Marquette had a big win over Western Michigan, a 2008 NCAA tournament team. Nikki Klingsporn had 62 assists, another career high. The Golden Eagles have that big match against UW-Milwaukee at 1:30 p.m. and Ohio State tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m.
• In addition to the Marquette match this afternoon, UW-Milwaukee will play Ohio State tonight at 7:30 p.m.
• Wisconsin plays New Mexico State at 4 p.m. this afternoon in South Bend, Indiana.

Good luck to all of the above and for the record, we are officially not taking sides in that intriguing contest at the Klotsche Center this afternoon.
