And Speaking of Wisconsin Connections, Here Are Two in One Shot

As we were surfing hither and yon in search of Wisconsin prep stars playing everywhere, we came across this story on the Iowa State site. What struck us immediately was that the story's accompanying photo (above) featured the team's two Wisconsinites in the same frame, Debbie Stadick (Watertown '08) and Ashley Mass (Muskego '07), the latter of whom just received yet another Big XII Defensive Player of the Week accolade this season.

One more thing: Be sure to click on both the hither and yon links up there. The "hither" is a local sports feature on Binghamton's Lindsey Mueller (West Bend West '07) and the "yon"links to the story about UW-Milwaukee's Lauren Felsing (Wisconsin Lutheran '06) winning Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week honors last week. OK, in that case, the Wisconsin connection is a player still playing in Wisconsin, but we forgot to put it in the post below so there it is.
