The work week is over and we're just now catching up on some days-old news, like the fact that there was a record crowd at the Kress Center to watch the Wisconsin Badgers defeat Wisconsin-Green Bay on Wednesday -- and we absolutely love hearing about record crowds at volleyball matches in Wisconsin. The above video shows game highlights with a decidedly Green Bay slant.
Oh, by the way, here are the answers to our trivia challenge: the two pairs of former high school teammates facing each other in the match were actually (as we only learned later when someone told us) three sets of former teammates:
- Green Bay's Holly Visser and Madison's Brittney Dolgner are Waupun alumnae
- Green Bay's Nikki Hintze and Madison's Janelle Gabrielsen are Menomonee Falls alumnae
- Green Bay's Whitney Schott and Madison's Elle Ohlander both graduated from the same high school in Illinois
