Let us know if anything's amiss. Here's some verbatim words from what we've received: "It was a good day of volleyball competition. The team that surprised me the most was FC Elite 17-1. They made it to the finals after beating Club Breakout 18 2-0 in the semis. They put up a good fight in the final against Wisconsin Select 18, but experience and good teamwork gave Select the title in three sets. FC Elite lost a close first set, won the second in nice fashion, but ran out of gas in the third set losing by at least 5-6 points. I believe the second set loss was Select 18s first and only set loss in twelve matches (24-1 in sets). Wisconsin Select got by a tough West Bend Power 16 Purple team in their semifinal match 2-0, but West Bend took them to 25-23 in the first set."

Thanks for the report and the results.

Here's a note from the WI Select 18's coach: We have played FC Elite 17-1 on three occasions this season. Each time they have been close 3-set matches. They are a very strong team. So is WB Power 16-1. They have some very good athletes, a very big block, and a libero who has a ton of range. Congrats to all of the teams. It was a fun final day of competition. I just wish that we could get all of the top clubs playing in it. Hopefully in the future....

Sunday's play was a great experience and awesome prep as we leave for Indy Thursday. Extremely classy of WI Select coach Paul Schlomer to make the comments that he did about our players. Let me return the favor about his team. They played with unmatched intensity and their backrow defense was unrelenting. Overall, a very well-balanced and talented team and they earned this championship. The inspiring play of #21 Danielle Cushley was the subject of conversation at our Monday practice. Her passion for the game is immeasurable!

Keep up the good work on the site.
B.J. Royes - WB Power 16-Purple

It has nothing to do with the badger tour, but there was a comment that they havent lost for twelve straight matches!!!

The reference to wins in twelve straight matches was speaking strictly about the Badger Tour. I believe Wisconsin Select 18 was undefeated in the three Badger Tour dates and their single set loss to FC Elite 17-1 in the finals was their only set loss for the entire Badger Tour.
