Destination: Miami

This is a post to officially congratulate FC Elite 17-1 and West Bend Power 16 Purple. Fresh off their successes at the Badger Tour 18s, both teams finished second in their respective age levels at the Mideast Qualifier and, as such, are headed to Miami at the end of June for the 30th Annual Junior Olympic Girls Volleyball Championships. West Bend Power 16 Purple actually came within three points of winning the whole darn thing. Pretty exciting stuff.

Great showing for the Badger Region at he MEQ. Congrats to FC Elite 17s and West Bend 16s. Sooooo close to winning the whole thing West Bend. Way to represent!

A good trivia question for your site might be what is the last Badger Region team to win a national qualifer?

CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW UNO 18 ELITE (CURRENTLY 51ST OUT OF 110 TEAMS IN THE GREAT LAKES POWER LEAGUE)MANAGED TO WIN THE 18 CLUB DIVISION AT MEQ?

DID THEY GET AN INJURED PLAYER BACK?

DID THEY PULL GIRLS UP FROM ONE OF THEIR YOUNGER TEAMS?

DID THEY JUST HAVE A HECK OF A GOOD WEEKEND?

THEY WENT 12-0 IN MATCHES AND WERE 22-3 IN SETS.

BASED ON WHAT I CAN SEE THEY CAME OUT OF NOWHERE TO WIN.

Hey, thanks for the nice comments regarding our runner-up finish in Indy. Coming out of the 155 team field with a bid was rewarding. I'm thinking that these kids won't just want to sit back with their American bid however, but there are lots of very talented teams out there!
