Great Lakes, Batman. Have the Major Tournaments Started Already?

It's a major, multi-date tournament down in Illinois. And to be honest, it's hard to keep up with where things stand among the many teams that participate in the various Great Lakes Power Leagues. Here's what we think we know for sorta almost sure: The 18s started yesterday and continued today. After Saturday, the teams were divided into a gold bracket and a silver bracket. Here's the link for how Wisconsin teams fared on day one. And here's the list:

GOLD
  • Milwaukee Sting 18 Black
  • Capital 16 DB
  • Milwaukee Sting 18 Gold
  • Wisconsin Juniors 17-1
  • Capital 17 Nike Emily
  • Wisconsin Juniors 18-1
  • Milwaukee Sting 16 Gold
  • Milwaukee Sting 17 Black
  • Milwaukee Sting 17 Gold
SILVER
  • Capital 18 Nike Mark
  • Wisconsin Juniors 17 Blue
  • Wisconsin Juniors 18 Blue
Please let us know if anyone has Sunday updates or corrections to the information above. And remember that roster links for many of the above teams are on the side of the blog. Thanks.

Capital 18 Nike David won their pool on day 2 with a 2-0 win over Wisc. Jrs 18-1.

Wisc Jrs 17-1 finished 1st or 2nd in their pool on Day. Looking VERY strong this early in the season!

Sting 17 Black beat Sting 16 Gold in 3 close games on Day 2.

Sting 18 Gold went 3-0 on Day 2.

Capital 16 Nike DB took 3rd in their pool on Day 2. This team had to play Munciana 18-1 on Day 1 and SPVB 18 Elite on Day 2.
