What Goes Better with Your Morning Coffee Than Some Wisconsin Volleyball Links?

Here's what we've found. We're sure there's more.
  • Adam Cosson of West Allis Hale joins the 20+ kill club by notching 25 against Homestead (Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel).
  • Waukesha West's Dan Simon had 11 digs in a four-set loss to his father's Wauwatosa East team. Mike Benedict and Brian Cashion each had 10 kills for Tosa East in the victory (Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel).
  • Hillary Hughes of Wisconsin Heights had been featured on Wednesday in a Capital Times Prep Profile.
  • Also on Wednesday, the Sheboygan Press provided a little more insight into Sheboygan Lutheran, one of three (or is it two?) of our Last Teams Standing.
  • A Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel box score reports that Ruffin of Bay View had 23 kills for Bay View in a three-set victory over Milwaukee King. Doe anyone know her first name?
  • The "We Are Grantsburg" blog had a congratulatory post for the Pirates' perfect regular season.
  • There's a nice feature in the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram about Elk Mound and their big block. A recent win puts them in sole possesion of second place in the Dunn-St. Croix conference.
  • The Appleton Post-Crescent gives some nice ink to another second-place place finisher. In this case, it's the Kimberly boys who will finish runner-up in the Fox Valley Association conference.
  • Don't forget to make your state championship predictions as a comment to this post. For every appropriate comment we'll donate three dollars to fight poverty (yeah, we just tripled our previous commitment).
