Waterford's Abby Beilke Had 13 Kills Against Wilmot

We know what you're thinking: While not insignificant, a 13-kill performance hardly merits its own post. Well, last night's total happened to be rather significant for this UW-Parkside-bound senior. Here's a comment that was left last night on the blog:

"Waterford's Abby Beilke had 13 kills in a match win over Wilmot on October 7th, 2008. With the 13 kills Abby now has 1,004 for her high school career. Abby is the first player to achieve 1,000 kills in the school's history. Previous kill record was held by UW-Milwaukee standout Cheryl Hagemann with 748 kills over the course of her high school career. Not sure if there is a 1,000 kill club but it appears we have its newest member. Congratulations Abby and good luck with the rest of your season."

Regarding your question about whether we have a 1,000 kill club, the answer is, "We do now." To start, however, let's only include current high school players who have 1,000 or more kills for their careers.
