There's No Time for Mindless Mascot Trivia So Here's Some Mindless Mascot Trivia

Yeah, we know, we know. 

We really should be doing another serious post or updating a list, but while we were casually researching some of the remaining teams, we discovered that one is known as the Granite Diggers. And of course, with that tidbit of info, we just couldn't stop ourselves from throwing out another silly mascot trivia challenge. 

Each of the mascots below is still in the WIAA girls state tournament. And while everyone can probably identify a few, can anybody correctly ID the high schools for all of them?

• Hornets
• Goslings
• Ships
• Lady Popes
• Galloping Ghosts
• Sabers
• Vanguards

Serious posts coming soon, but you have to admit this is sorta-kinda a fun way to meet some teams you might never have heard about otherwise. Or maybe not. We dunno.
