Possible Returning Wisconsinites in NJCAA D2

It has been brought to our attention that the NJCAA Division 2 National Championships will be held at the Chula Vista on November 20-22. We've added the information to our calendar at blog's bottom. We've also identified some former Wisconsinites who could qualify for a trip to the Chula Vista. Here's what we've uncovered so far: 

• Oakfield grad Alexandra Fink plays for Kankakee Community College and currently ranks 46th in the nation in hitting percentage, 43rd in the nation in aces per game and was last week's co-player of the week)
• Her teammate, Amanda Tekus, graduated from Racine Case and currently ranks 34th nationally in digs per game
• The top-ranked team in NJCAA D2 is Kishwaukee College and it looks as though they have several Wisconsinites on their team: Appleton Xavier grad Lizzie Machurick, Rib Lake grads Erin Anderson and Elizabeth Anderson, as well as Madison West's Paige McKenzie.

That's what we know at the moment. We'll try to track the action to see if any of these NJCAA D2 Wisconsinites (or others) will be at the tournament in the Dells. Stay tuned and, please, don't hesitate to help us fill in any blanks on this story.
