From the Morning Online Papers

According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Ean Reid of Kettle Moraine joined the 20+ kill club. He had 21 in a victory over Arrowhead.

Also from the MJS, Mellisa Morello of Nicolet, a recent addition to our Freshmen on the Floor list, had three aces and 16 kills in a three-set victory over Germantown. We're no mathematicians, but that's more than five kills a game. Nice.

And speaking of our 20+ kill list, MJS also reports that Jenny Ciriacks of Wauwatosa West tallied 28 in a four-set victory over crosstown rival Wauwatosa East. Mollie Meganck of East finished with 19 for the Red Raiders. Also, Kaitlynn Wilks of Union Grove had 20 kills in a victory over Mukwonago.

The Eau Claire Leader-Telegram's box scores indicate that Eau Claire Regis continues to roll in the Western Cloverbelt conference, topping Cadott in three sets. We believe they've still only lost one match, their first of the season. Freshman on the Floor Heather Bowe had eight kills and six blocks. The paper also shows that one of our Last Teams Standing, Clayton, won easily over Luck in three sets.

The Wisconsin State Journal's stats show a five-set thriller between two teams in the same regional: Belmont (D4 S3) defeated Shullsberg (D4 S3) 25-23, 24-26, 25-17, 18-25, 15-12.
