Badgers Return to the Badger State with Sights Set on the Number 500

The Waite is almost over. Bet you couldn't Waite for the Badgers to play at the UW Fieldhouse again. Some coaches have to Waite a lifetime for 500 wins. (OK, we're good now--sometimes you just have to get all the bad puns out of your system before starting a story.) As everyone no doubt already knows, Pete Waite will be going for his 500th career win this weekend at the InnTowner Classic in Madison. We wish him and the team the best of luck. And if you're not watching, playing or coaching volleyball somewhere else this weekend, take in a match and be part of Cheese & Volleyball's own personal, very unofficial, 80,000-in-'08 attendance drive. We can't Waite to see if the Badgers reach that number (sorry, couldn't resist).
