Whenever a game five ends with both teams in double digits, it usually signifies a hotly contested match (how's that for a firm grasp of the obvious?). Last night, two division two sectional three foes squared off and Lakeside Lutheran came out on top, defeating Lodi 22-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-14, 15-12. Danielle Cushley almost reached the 20-kill plateau, finishing with 18 on the night. Jenna Luisier had 12 kills and setter Mackenzie Krentz had 22 assists for Lakeside Lutheran.
