Yes, we know about "the rule." Yes, we think that limiting a club team to no more than three high school teammates would radically alter the makeup of club volleyball in Wisconsin, especially for programs in non-metro areas.
Beyond that we're not going to comment.
This does not, however, mean that we don't have an opinion. Oh we do. It's just that the purpose of this site isn't to let some anonymous bloggers take sides in a controversy of this magnitude. It's to promote "the state of the sport in the state of Wisconsin."
Maybe someday we'll create another site where we offer discussion threads and carefully crafted commentary on subjects like this. It really could happen.
Until then, all we choose to offer are master lists of who's going where, news about boys' and men's volleyball, occasional attempts at humor and a little more of this, that and who-knows-what-else.
