We realize this isn't exactly a volleyball-related story, but if you've ever spent any time at a convention center (and we're guessing you have), you'll agree that it does have a volleyball slant to it. We're speaking, of course, about the 20th anniversary of Dippin' Dots on May 20. Yes, those cryogenically frozen beads of scrumptiousness will turn the big 2-0 on Tuesday. We freely admit to having enjoyed more than a few dishes over the years in Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Atlanta, Indianapolis, you name it. And now it turns out that if you happen to be in Rothschild or Stevens Point on Tuesday, you'll be able to treat yourself to a free dish at these locations. Kind of makes you wonder when the Maui Wowi smoothie will be having an anniversary.
