Offbeat Badger Region Championship Awards

Thanks to the detailed reporting available from AES, we were able to look at this weekend's results and create a few new awards. Hope you like them.

THE VENI, VIDI, VICI AWARD
It's Latin for "we came, we saw, we conquered," and we're giving this award to the team with the best match, game and point percentage at any age level. And the winner is Milwaukee Sting 15 Gold, which had a 7-0 match record, 14-0 game record and 167% point percentage in 15 Open. Second place goes to FC Elite 15-2, which had an 8-0 match record, 16-0 game record and 163% point percentage in 15 Club.

THE MEPC AWARDS
MEPC stands for Making Every Point Count. This award is given to any team that finishes in the top three in its division depite having a point percentage under 100%. In other words, their opponents scored more points than they did. We feel this award showcases a team's ability to score points when it matters most. And the recipients are:

• Eclipse 16 Solar (tied for 3rd in 16 Club with a 96% point percentage)
• Club Breakout 17-1 (tied for 3rd in 17 Open with a 96% point percentage)
• Wisconsin Select 17-1 (tied for 3rd in 17 Open with a 96% point percentage)
• Next Level 18-1 (tied for 3rd in 18 Club with a 98% point percentage)
