Don't Mess with Wisconsin, Part 2: Wisconsin Select 17-1 Punches Ticket to Texas

As predicted right here last week, Wisconsin Select 17-1 did, in fact, earn an American bid to the 2008 Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships in Dallas, Texas. They'll join FC Elite 15-1, which earned its bid in Indy last month. Select narrowly missed earning a National bid, losing 15-9 in the third game of a three-game final. As for our other NLQ prediction, FC Elite 18-1 ended up fifth in 18 Club, one spot behind West Bend Power 18 Purple and three spots out of the running for a bid.
