They were first-team all-staters as seniors in 2006-2007. And now they're playing college ball in five different states. Here are highlights from their freshman seasons:
Lauren Hintze of Menomonee Falls and UW-Milwaukee "emerged as a serving specialist in the regular rotation"
Rachel Lamers of Kimberly and UM-Duluth played on the #5-ranked team in the Division 2 polls
Ashley Mass of Muskego and Iowa State was named to the Big 12 all-freshman team
Lindsey Mueller of West Bend West and Binghamton was named to the all-freshmen team in the America East Conference
Allison Wack of Westosha Central and Wisconsin averaged 2.21 kills per game over 80 games for a Badger team that finished #14 in the polls
Alex Zwettler of Madison Edgewood and Eastern Illinois set the school's single-season freshman kills record
