Two Matches, Ten Sets, One Thrilling Win, One Heartbreaking Loss

That would be an overly simplistic summary of the last two days in the lives of the UW-Green Bay Phoenix volleyball team. On Friday night, they won a thrilling five-set victory over Valparaiso (and returning Wisconsinite Kim Bukowski). Then last night they dropped a heartbreaking five-setter to Butler that went extra numbers, falling 19-17 in the fifth. In the loss, Liesel Tesch of the Phoenix did join our 20+ kill club.
