Here's a too-quick rundown of how the state's NCAA DI teams fared this weekend:
- The Badgers had an important, five-set win against Oregon State last night. Both middles, Elle Ohlander and Alexis Mitchell, had career-high kills.
- Marquette won its own tournament, going undefeated on the weekend. Binghamton's Lindsey Mueller (West Bend West '07) had 34 assists in her team's loss to the Golden Eagles.
- UW-Milwaukee also earned its first win of the season with a victory over Alcorn State. They also had a couple of tough, five-set losses to Mississippi and Alabama-Birmingham.
- UW-Green Bay got its first win by defeating South Dakota State, and they put up a tremendous fight against Iowa. We've attempted to embed some video of the match below. Hope it works.
We received the comment below, but decided not to publish the last part of it because it seemed a little negative in tone. Sorry if we offended the person who left it, especially since we don't believe it was his or her intent to be negative. Judgment call.
